Lets not eat feedlot Cattle

Australian Supermarket Beef is mostly feedlot beef. Feedlot beef is an intensive way to grow beef that is increasingly under fire in some countries.

One explanation for feedlot is price, its the only way to bring mass affordable food to market. But Australian supermarket meet is not cheap, so if it is cheap to buy for the supermarkets it seems like they are making more money that they should here. I read that 75% of Australian beef is feedlot.

To remember:

• Need to eat food that has been treated with Respect, but works who have been treated with respect
• Fast food is worse than I thought, it effects the food production business and we all suffer from that.
  
• Corn Syrup - Bad
• Beef is not as good as I thought - lot fed Beef if bad - need to look for grass fed (not sure about grain fed)
• 90% of soy is GM in US
  
• Monsanto have gone to great lengths to hurt farms - GM OK, Monsanto Bad, apparently
  
• Chicken companies control the market - eg Tyson
• Walmart not selling Milk with BST hormone in it - will probably be an end to this in Milk in the US
